Made for us in Italy, the GC431W is a four-burner 30" wide gas cooktop conveniently sized to fit traditional 24" cutouts (cutout size: 21 3/4" W x 18 7/8" D). The surface is constructed from enamel-coated steel in a white finish for a modern look that's easy to clean. Two continuous cast iron grates on each side of the cooktop allow for easy movement between burners, while the open center design affords extra space when cooking with multiple pots and pans that can otherwise collide on smaller surfaces. The heavy duty brass/aluminum knobs in a steel finish are located at the front of the unit for safe, convenient access. The knobs require a gentle push-to-turn motion to ignite, and the thermocouple flame protection ensures the gas turns off if the flame is extinguished. Featuring four sealed gas burners by Defendi, the GC431W ensures quality heating for every dish. The upper-left 10,000 BTU rapid burner is ideal for boiling water or cooking larger dishes, while the bottom-left 3,400 auxiliary burner works well for precise cooking and heating. The two right 6000 BTU semi-rapid burners provide cooking power to suit most needs. The GC431W uses electric spark ignition, with a standard three-prong 115V cord included. It is set for natural gas operation with an LP conversion kit included for propane use.
